Corrosion Prevention
Steel bridges and pylons have to deal with the elements every day, and are more exposed to corrosion. The open-air method for repair and maintenance with industrial climbers has several advantages over the more conventional approaches with scaffolding, enclosures, sand blasting and spraying. The length of time the workers are exposed to dangerous heights is shorter and there are no structural difficulties posed by scaffolding such as weight or wind force. Construction sites with Rope Access are slim and don't require any large installation areas.
It is just the corroded areas that are treated. If the swarf has been diligently sucked off, there won't be any residue left to harm inhabitants or the environment.
Naturally, we take every measure to ensure that health and environmental protection standards are upheld.
